Our Background
Jackson Ambe Ndecheck, Licensed Trainer & Master Mental Health Coach, originally from Cameroon, started his missionary work at YWAM Port Harcourt, Nigeria in 2002. After his Discipleship Training School he worked as a missionary in Nigeria for 8 years, leading the DTS training center and helping pioneer other bases.
In 2009 he shared the vision of seeing the University of the Nations (UofN) multiplied into Africa at the Leadership Training Course in Nigeria where he was encouraged by Loren & Darlene Cunningham as well as David & Christine Hamilton to gain practical experience at the largest UofN training campus in Kona-Hawaii.
In April 2010 he continued his Bachelor in Biblical Studies and Master’s in Community Development at the University of the Nations, Kona Hawaii. As part of these studies he completed the Word by Heart training in 2013 and was part of the school leadership for several years. He has since then memorized several book of the Bible and has traveled to the nations to give presentations that bring the Word of God to life.
In 2015 God gave him the vision for African Bible Safari which is Ending Bible Poverty Now in Africa. Loren Cunningham, Founder of Youth With A Mission, asked Jackson to lead the End Bible Poverty Now initiative for Africa.
In 2019 the vision for the UofN in Africa was rekindled during a visit to Cameroon. Since then conversations, visits and negotiations have started with the mayor and minister of education to see a full UofN Campus established in Kribi, Cameroon. At present we are one signature away from having permission for the land to build a UofN Campus.
After completing her Master’s in Management, Economics and Consumer Studies in 2007 Anneke Ndecheck- Klugkist, originally from the Netherlands, worked in the marketing department of the multinational Procter & Gamble. She completed her Discipleship Training School (DTS) in Nigeria after their wedding in January 2009. This marked the start of their journey as a family in missions serving first in Port Harcourt Nigeria. Then they travelled to Kona, Hawaii to be equipped with tools and skills for their vision.
From 2011-2017 Anneke was the personal assistant to Darlene Cunningham (co-Founder of Youth With A Mission) from which she gained a rich impartation of wisdom on parenting as well as the ministry of hospitality. From 2012 she was also the personal assistant to Loren Cunningham, Founder of Youth With a Mission until he passed away in 2023.
Since 2014 the Ndechecks have been involved in leading the 48- room GO Center Guest House of the UofN Campus where Jackson pioneered the daily devotions and discipleship times. Anneke has been the General Manager since 2016 creating processes and systems for training and organization. In 2022 she began leading the Corporate Hospitality & Events department encompassing the multitude of gatherings happening at the University of the Nations in Kona, as small as 10 people and as large as 1400.
In 2023 Anneke completed her Master of Business Administration degree in Hospitality at Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne. She has been involved in teaching hospitality seminars and workshops to both adults as well as children.
Jackson & Anneke want to see the continent of Africa transformed through Bible based Education as well as practical skill based trainings for holistic discipleship.
During their time in Hawaii their five precious children were born:
Hope Shekinah (2011), REJoyce Zoe (2013) Kyndness Rachum (2015), WARRIOR Kadosh (2018) and Miracle Nachalah Elisheva (2021)
