After living in the USA for more than six years I feel more and more American each time we get to celebrate Thanksgiving. Last year I made my first Turkey. This year there is a green bean casserole in the oven as I am writing this. So grateful for friends that invited us for dinner and for precious and unique memories we are making each year.
This morning we celebrated with our YWAM Kona family during our annual thanksgiving service followed by a march of faith. Loren Cunningham gave a special emphasis on being grateful for people who are irreplaceable where buildings can be rebuilt people cannot. This was in light of Darlene’s recent illness but now being so much better she was there to give the Thanksgiving message! Praise the Lord.
So this year we are thankful for you! Each and every one of you whether friends or family you are such a treasure.
And as a family we are so thankful to have our daddy back! The night he arrived at the airport all three children ran into his arms and Hope even shed a tear. It was such a joy. Kyndness would not let Jackson out of his sight and we are all so happy he is back. Due to a honorarium Jackson received we were able to go and spend some nights away as a family in a beautiful vacation place where we had our own 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen. This was a very precious time of resting and bonding as family. We went swimming a lot and watched “finding Dory” on the couch with home baked pizza which was one of my highlights.
I will post some fun pictures below.
We are so grateful to God for His faithfulness and love to us.
May you feel His loving arms today.
Happy Thanksgiving!
The Ndechecks
