No, we are not talking about Noah’s Ark or about Moses on the mountain but I found it so interesting to realize that when Jackson comes back it will have been exactly 40 days and 40 nights that my husband was away. If anything it quite encouraged me actually as it seems like such a significant length of time.
In the left picture above it’s Hope’s expression of how she is feeling missing her daddy. Then I asked her to ask the Lord what He wanted to say to her and she wrote down the words on the right. “Jesus Loves Me”. Oh my heart. Yes of course she is missing her daddy but I truly believe it’s a “good” kinda missing. God has been so faithful carrying our children through this and I just feel so covered by grace. Sure we have our ups and downs and mummy gets really really tired and frustrated at times, but when I look back at it now, the weeks have just flown by.

REJoyce did the same coloring exercise and she drew a “camel” (on the right) and a picture of our family (on the left- she asked me to draw myself). I just love her creativity and love of colors. Every single piece is drawn by using a different crayon. Who knows what these artistic skills will lead to!

MIRACLE TESTIMONY!!
Well after sharing about our financial need for this trip during the last update we were blown away with God’s Provision. Out of the $6000 that we needed, we received a total of 6420 special donations.
A BIG THANK YOU goes out to all of you who gave towards this trip. And also a big thank you to those who have been committed in prayer throughout this time. We are SO GRATEFUL.
THANK YOU!!

We were able to pay back all the money we had borrowed and were owing. It was such a relief to be able to pay back all this money and also so amazing how God “did it again” in such a unique way. Thank you Lord!

We are so excited about our daddy coming home this week and spending precious family time together before jumping into things. I know you all want to know how things are in Cameroon but at this point I can only say it was going “very well” and “fruitful” things are happening, but the internet connection has not been so great to fully understand all that is going on. So I hope to update you more on the details after Jackson gets here!

THANK YOU JESUS for making this all possible and giving us grace through these 40 days and 40 nights.
