Jackson and Jihoon, the Word by Heart co-leaders

This quarter is the first time that the Word by Heart School is offered in both English and Korean language. I remember sitting in the car a year ago when Jackson shared the vision of having the school run in English & Korean and English & French. Now this has become a reality (and next quarter the school is being prepared for English & French) and this is so exciting! Jihoon speaks both English and Korean (as do a number of the staff team they are working with). They take turns at translating the teacher and then the students will study the Bible in their heart language. Some of the students speak only Korean or only English, so at break time it was a fun dynamic in making new friends. In the next 3 months they will be able to present about 90 minutes of scripture by heart word for word in their heart language.

KOREA
Before the school started Jackson was on his Korea trip where he had such a rich experience and development of relationships. He preached at the youth service in a church where the youth alone were hundreds of young people. Incredible to hear about so many people worshiping Jesus.
